Some details about Saab 9000 CSE 2,3 T:

Motor:

-ECU reprogrammed by SQR ; so called Aero Special Kit

it gives for the basic Aero engine about 306 HP and ca.500 NM. Maximum boost reaches ca.1,6 bar. First

gear has reduced boost ca. 0,7 bar. Engine speed limitation 6500 rpm.

- Air Intake has following mods:

-K&N open filter inside of the left front wing

-Standard Mitsu TD04-15 Aero turbo (originally there was Garrett T25)

-Abbott Racing Aluminium Intercooler

-Abbott Racing Recirculating By-pass Valve

-Last rubber bend before intake manifold replaced by 3'' aluminium bend

-Heating resistors removed between intake manifold and cyl.head

-Cylinder head

-Abbott Racing Gas Flowed and Ported Head: bigger exhaust valves and calibrated combustion chambers, inlet valve shaft maschined thinner

-Maptune camshafts ( if I remember right duration was 250 and lift 9,5)

-Exhaust gas system (stainless steel)

-Custom made equal length pipe collector between cyl.head and turbo (ChipCenter)

-Nordic Uhr 3'' downpipe from turbo to racing catalyst

-Catback system from Hirsch (2'5'')

-Fuel system

-Malpassi (Tent Saab) progressive fuel pressure regulator (1:1,2). Basic fuel pressure set at 3,5 bar

Gearbox

- All bearings renewed in Kalngale

-Abbott Racing limited slip differential

-Final drive from Saab 9-3 (is slightly higher ration than the original)

Suspension

-Abbott Racing kit with lower springs and yellow Koni adjustable shocks

-Abbott Racing lower wishbone big poly bushings at the front

-Rear sway bar Abbott Racing poly bushes

-Front strut brace from F-Racing

This is about all the modifications sofar done in the car; almost everything was done in Kalngale.

The performance at the moment is following:

-Measured with G-Tech:

0 - 100 km/h 6,0 sec

Peak horsepower at the wheel: 290 HP

-Measured with stopwatch and car speedometer

100 - 150 km/h with 3rd gear 4,2 sec

Top speed ca.260...270 km/h according to speedometer
