Dear friends,
11,000 scientists just announced that climate change has us on track for 'untold suffering', while the UN says the collapse of our ecosystems could wipe out a **MILLION** species.
And, we could be one of them.
There used to be many "environmental issues". But now, it's all one struggle. For life itself. We’re not separate from nature -- we ARE nature, and in this struggle we can find our true selves: not a virus that plagues this planet, but a species that protects all life.
Millions of us have backed Avaaz campaigns for 100% clean energy, and for "50/50", a game-changing plan to protect half our planet for nature. But to win, we must bring these two giant campaigns together in a massive worldwide movement for life itself -- and we need to do it fast.
2020 is THE year to do it, with two major global summits in China and the UK that will decide whether to urgently protect nature and cut carbon pollution.
If 10,000 of us chip in just the cost of a cup of coffee a week, we can make building this movement our major focus for the next year, with huge marches, campaigns targeting key leaders, and a massive media push, to make 2020 the turning point for all life on Earth. Chip in now:
Catastrophic climate change could end life on Earth. But our most powerful protection against climate change is life itself - vast forests and grasslands that turn our carbon emissions into water and oxygen. But since 1970, we've destroyed vast habitats, wiping out 60% of mammal, bird, fish and reptile populations! Only by saving both the climate and nature can we ultimately save ourselves.
To do so, we need to take the streets again ahead of these key summits -- and be bigger than ever before.
We know how to do this -- before the Paris Climate Summit, our movement helped deliver not one but TWO record-breaking climate marches! We combined the heat on the streets with inspirational advocacy, media, and smart campaigning -- and we won!
Now we’re needed again. In 12 months, the fate of millions of species -- maybe even our own -- could be sealed. Let’s make sure we show up. Chip in weekly to power the movement to defend all life in 2020:
Every single penny we spend comes from small donations made by Avaaz members. And time and time again it’s made magic happen in the world. But saving nature, the climate, and ourselves is our biggest challenge yet -- so let’s each chip in today and rise to save everything we love in 2020.
With hope,
Ricken, Marigona, Joseph, Camille, Rosa, Martyna, Bert, and Christoph with the entire Avaaz team
Tā teikt, sveicieni no citplanētiešu - ekofašistu brigādes.

anoagask rakstīja: pāatrinājumu dod jauda, t.i. ZS.
Man personīgi vēl nav gadījies izbraukt ne ar vienu motoru, ne atmosfērisku benzīnu, ne turbo benzīnu, ne turbo dīzeli, kurš spētu paātrināt mašīnu dēļ jaudas - visi to darīja ar griezes momentu
